"I think the only good art I make is stuff that is raw, hard, and emotional. with any fuckups with any improvisation, the process is seen in the end result, the feelings i have at the time particularly the negative ones shine through on whatever it is. They are the pieces I'm most proud of and the ones that are the most draining. Whether it's sitting in the emotions or pushing them to the side with substances. Every "good" piece I make takes such a toll on my mental health for that period of time which it takes to complete. both an outlet that is good after the fact but a difficult process. Particularly when they go on for days at a time. A perfectly planned structured piece (just in my case) always feels forgettable for me. So that said fuck the clean black and white that was once on this piece"
